Economic Security Corporation (ESC) operates a variety of programs designed to prevent and eliminate poverty while promoting self-sufficiency and increasing housing opportunities for low-income individuals and families in Barton, Jasper, Newton and McDonald counties. Available programs include:

Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher Program...
Provides rental assistance to low-income families.

Family Self-Sufficiency Program...
Provides assistance and incentives to Choice Voucher Program participants in obtaining employment that will lead to economic independence and self-sufficiency.

Rental Production Programs...
Provide affordable rental homes to low to moderate income households.

Home Rehabilitation Programs...
Provide rehabilitation repairs to owner occupied homes.

Missourians Building Assets (IDA)...
Matched savings program to assist participating families with closing costs and down payments on the purchase of a home.
